Excerpts from the article
‘When I first listened to Prem,’ says Mr Kinoshita (President of Bunya publishing) , ‘I felt his words were of great importance. I felt that Prem’s message would touch people from all walks of life, be they a businessman or a housewife”.
Prem Rawat visited Japan for the book launch in early October and during his two week stay he addressed a number of audiences including students and faculty at Waseda University. Asked about the book Mr Rawat commented, ‘I liked his motto and felt I could trust Mr Kinoshita to create a book that would be true to my message.’
The title of ‘Splitting the Arrow’ is taken from one of the stories in the book.
This story emphasizes the importance of what we practise everyday in our lives.
‘Even when you are in the toughest environment like a prison,’ Mr Rawat says, ‘you still have choice. You can choose to be in peace, to be kind. When you are in touch with the strength within you, a fundamental change occurs.’
Videos with extracts from Prem Rawat’s addresses are shown in prisons, hospitals and educational facilities in over 40 countries.
